Return Of Saturn: Venus Come Home

I walked outside,Saw the dog; black and fuzzy

like Midnight once was.

The canine softly murmured underneath his breath,

as though he knew

something I did not.

I smiled as I walked down the driveway,

and said g’day to the companion basking

in morning sunshine.

A brief moment of sunshine was soon covered by clouds;
The clouds brought rain with them.

By the time I reached

the rain told me it was too cold outside.

Hail. Hail. Hail.
